South East Lancashire Orienteering Club welcomes novice and elite navigators and has a membership area concentrated around Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton & Wigan.

SELOC is one of the oldest established clubs in the sport. It was formed in 1966 and was a founder member of the North West Orienteering Association (NWOA) and both are members of British Orienteering, the governing body of the sport in the UK.

A SELOC Social Night is held on the first Thursday of every month from about 9.00 p.m. onwards, at the Astley Bridge Bowling Club (off the A666, 0.5km North of Bolton ring road). Contact Roy Stevenson to arrange signing-in to the club.

Lever Park Permanent Orienteering Course (POC) - would anyone intending to use the POC please note that vandals have moved/damaged controls 18 & 19. Both posts are within 20m of their correct location but the markings on No. 19 are illegible.

By popular demand, a SELOC SOCIAL SPECIAL “Tour of the Bank Top Brewery” is planned for Friday the 15th August 2008 between 7.30 - 9.30 p.m.. The guided tour of the micro-brewery includes an explanation of the processes used, followed by time to relax in the bar. The cost is £10, which includes drinks, and places are limited to a maximum of 28 people (over-18’s only). An optional Pie & Peas supper is also available for approximately £3. Please place your bookings through Paul Turner, - a £5 deposit will be required to secure your place.
