South East Lancashire Orienteering Club welcomes novice and elite navigators and has a membership area concentrated around Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton & Wigan.

SELOC is one of the oldest established clubs in the sport. It was formed in 1966 and was a founder member of the North West Orienteering Association (NWOA) and both are members of British Orienteering, the governing body of the sport in the UK.

Unfortunately, the Naden Valley event on the 12th October has had to be cancelled due to late issues on access rights. It is hoped that the event will be re-scheduled for 2009.

The clubs Annual General Meeting is scheduled for 8.00pm on the 16th October 2008 at Egerton Cricket Club, Blackburn Road, Bolton. All club members are welcome to attend to: nominate and vote for committee members; hear the club reports and proposals; and amend the clubs constitution if required. There will be a quiz and food provided afterwards.

A SELOC Social Night is held on the first Thursday of every month from about 9.00 p.m. onwards, at the Astley Bridge Bowling Club (off the A666, 0.5km North of Bolton ring road). Contact Roy Stevenson to arrange signing-in to the club.

Lever Park Permanent Orienteering Course (POC) - Posts 18 & 19 have now been replaced, although the post for control number 18 is approximately 10m West of its correct location.
