SELOC is excited to announce our first event since before lockdown. We return with our Saturday Series at Worsley Woods and can’t wait to see you. In line with British Orienteering’s guidelines, there are some changes which we’ve made for everyone’s safety. Everyone will need to pre-enter, selecting your start time and follow the Covid briefing and code of conduct below.

Terrain: Mature woodland split into segments by the M60 motorway

Facilities: Due to Covid restrictions, there are no facilities available.

Timings: Starts from 1030-1230. Courses close 1400.

Courses: 

Light Green (approx 4km, 50m climb)

Orange (approx 3km, 50m climb)

Yellow (approx 2.5k, 30m climb)

Entries and Fees:

Due to Covid restrictions, we are limited to the number of entries allowed. All competitors must pre-enter via Fabian4.

There will be no Entry on the Day and entry is limited to BOF members of SELOC, MDOC, PFO, SROC, DEE, EPOC, AIRE and DVO.

Senior £5.00, Junior £2.50.      SI card hire £0.50

If you are yet to become a club member, we have a limited number of spaces which we can allocate on a first come first served basis. In order to secure one of these places please email our entries coordinator Steve Round with the following details:

• SI dibber number (if applicable) or hire dibber

Entry will be at the organisers discretion and reliant on the event still having available spaces. Event payment is to be made via bank transfer. These details will be forwarded to you on confirmation of your entry.

First Aid:

A first aid kit will be available but competitors should try to treat any injuries themselves with guidance from a first aider if necessary.

The nearest hospital with A&E facilities is the Salford Royal, Stott Lane, Salford M6 8HD. A location map will be available at Download if required.
