We’re pleased to announce a summer mini series of Street-O score events this month.

Taking place on consecutive Wednesdays, 21st and 28th July we’ll be running around the areas of Whitefield, Bury and Bradley Fold close by. Everyone is welcome, whether you want a casual run, want to push yourself or are completely new to Street Orienteering, these events will provide the ideal introduction.

Each area provides a variety of route choices and we’ll hopefully have a start/ finish location where there is the opportunity to socialise afterwards if you wish. Just for fun we’ll also publish results tables from each week and a combined table from both events.

Both will be using Open Orienteering Maps (1:12,500 scale) with 55 controls to find ranging in values from 20 to 70 points. Start times are in blocks of 15 minutes from 17:45 to the last start by 19:15. We’ll be using Si to record your start and finish time, so you’ll need a dibber, but these can be hired if needed.
