New for 2019, these Saturday afternoon events will take place in clusters within four different geographical areas. After Lever Park, we move onto Haigh Country Park the following week (9th February 2019) and on to the Bury area in April.

These events are ideal for families and newcomers to the sport. There is also a technical course for more experienced orienteers and nearby cafe for post-run refreshment.

We’re still looking for planners for events later in the year and will be publishing event dates soon (though bear in mind these dates are always flexible for would-be planners!). Please do give some consideration to helping out. Even if you’ve never planned before, this is the ideal environment in which to start. Committee will be organising permissions and helpers on the day and can offer advice on setting the different courses.
