Come and join us for some orienteering in Worsley Woods. Ideal for beginners (including families with young children) and experienced orienteers alike. Come and explore the (relative!?) tranquility of these woods nestled in the leafy suburbs of Salford – either side of the M60.  Don’t believe me – then google “Worsley woods images” yourself!

Where

We will be meeting at Beesley Green, just off Greenleach Lane, near the junction with Lumber Lane, in Roe Green. M28 2QW.

Courses

There will be three courses available, catering for different ages/abilities:

Yellow – approximately 1 mile easy course (ideal for children under 10)

Orange – approximately 1.5 miles medium course

Light Green – approximately 2.5 miles harder and a little more adventurous course

We will use electronic timing equipment and results will be presented on this website.

Times

Start your course anytime between 12 noon and 2pm.

Courses to be completed by 3pm.

Costs

The cost of our entering our race is:

Individuals: £4 adults and £2 children

Families participating together: £5 per family
